In the simplicity of the menu, great quality, for which there is the higher price at lunch
not bad . simple and warm atmosphere but the prices a bit high for everything
Charming atmosphere, nice food, reasonable price, great value, and charming neighborhood outside of touristy area. Fresh menu of the day was simple but great.
The best linguine with bottarga I have tried. My third visit, and food have always been good. Menu changes everyday which I prefer.
Very pleasant Roman restaurant, both for the atmosphere and for the dishes. Very nice owner and passionate about her work, which is no small feat. Four stars instead of five only for the prices, perhaps slightly above the average for similar places. But it's still worth it.
Good but too expensive for the lack of portions, the narrowness of the menu (only 3 appetizers, three first courses and three second courses !!!), the location and the service !!
Very nice place to eat, very clean and excellent service. Food was delicious, price was very reasonable, definitely recommend
True Roman trattoria
Great experience. Recommend totally
A proposal remained in half. The idea is probably to offer an environment inspired by the middle of the last century, and it would be apt, but some details mortify the attempt. You eat well, but maybe you could spend a little less.
traditional Roman dishes and a pleasant atmosphere
Excellent natural and real cuisine
Simple and genuine
It may seem anonymous and small, but cordiality and good food are at home. Stop for lunch, we ate really well.
High prices and limited enough choices ....
It could be a little less expensive, cmq good and particular cuisine
family-run restaurant, with high quality raw materials, all very good and amazing white truffles. Serious and competent staff. I highly recommend it.
Good quality and good price. I recommend it.
Good place
True family Roman cuisine, with great passion carry on the name of the father! Bravi!
Cute little restaurant in an unassuming part of town. The vibe is casual but chic, mostly creatives and foodies sit in the ten table restaurant surrounded by cool art all co-ordinated in red and black colours. The blackboard changes every night with specials. Then there are the staples on the menu. Of course pasta features. Veggies beware ..not many options for you here. Nice wine list and there are a few secret bottles not written out. Our waiter gave us a beautiful bottle of crisp white, not in the list for a cool 24euro. Loses one star as the dessert was a bit disappointing...we ordered tiramisu which I guess was their own version. One very thick layer of cream and a slightly underwhelming layer of sponge. Rocco is one of my favourites despite and I see many more wine fueled evenings here with good, company and conversation.
Vary charming, small and authentic.
Wonderful neighborhood spot. No tourists which is hard in Monti. Beautiful hostess. The food was simple, fresh, and perfect.
Not bad but not worth it
Popular restaurant recommended by my local friend. There is only Italian menu on the blackboard but we were well explained in English what each dishes is. Everything was tasty but we particularly liked their starters.
Nice food. Good service - Recomended
I just left the club! A fabulous place! Great food, superb location and excellent staff. Fresh, original but above all excellent dishes. Highly recommended. Congratulations
Excellent and inviting dishes in a beautiful and welcoming place. Not cheap, suitable to make us look good;)
Very welcoming place in a very suggestive part of Rome. Excellent and fresh food, very kind and nice staff. I recommend everyone to come and eat, we will definitely be back.
We are Americans living in Rome and this is, by far, our favorite neighborhood restaurant. The food is always amazing, the atmosphere charming and the staff--brother and sister--are so sweet. It's hard to find non-touristy and reasonable prices near the Colosseum and Termini and this place is the best!!
A pleasant place. Simple cooking. Excellent fried. Average pasta. More than reasonable prices. Try second courses and desserts. Service a little slow but courteous and helpful. Where to go if you are looking for a non-tourist trattoria in the area.
The food was brilliant and unlike the experience of another reviewer, we were not overcharged at all - we are also tourists and don't speak a word of Italian. By the standards of a big metropolis, the food was reasonable for the quality.
I'm a tourist, I don't speak much of italian and I din't even try at this restaurant. So, the waiter told me the menu in English, which was written on a board. And of course, when I received the bill, he charged me more than what was written on the board. He corrected his error but didn't even excused himself (quite sure, that was intended). If you're a tourist, don't go there, they will take advantage of you. Btw the food was good but not worth the price!
If you would like to have a cozy evening after a stressful day, this is the place for you. With very tasty wine and just as good food at normal prices. Definitely worthwhile.
